I took this picture while driving around Costa Mesa and Newport Beach getting ideas for home design recently.  It was the oddest site among one-story mid-century ranch style homes.  I wondered what it was all about… boat and all.  Now, thanks to @starlah and the LATimes, I can take a peek inside.
